Tom Golden has successfully defended clients who were wrongfully charged benefit overpayments. Tom has handled over 1000 Social Security cases. He is one of very few local attorneys to successfully handle Social Security cases involving paternity issues, DNA testing, and presumption of parentage. He has helped young children and every age group into retirement. He is the past Chair of the Social Security Lawyers Council for the State Bar of Michigan (a group of 400+ lawyers who handle Social Security claims). Prior to leading the Counicl, he served one-year terms as the Chair-Elect, Treasurer, and Secretary.
